I undertook my Foundation Diploma in art & design at Kingston University (2013-2014). It was during this intensive year that I explored the boundaries between painting, drawing, and sculpture.
Following my Diploma, I began my BA in painting at UAL-Wimbledon. During my first academic year, I changed faculty and graduated with a first-class Honours in Sculpture (2017). This period at University Arts London solidified the conceptual framework with which my practice is concerned: Expressionism, psychological trauma, and shamanic practices.
In 2019, I received the Paul Desty Scholarship to pursue an MA in sculpture at the Royal College of Art. The most rewarding component of my studies at the RCA was the completion of my thesis, ‘Who is Red?’
This paper was a biographical and poetic investigation into personal trauma, formlessness, and spirituality. The thesis is an artwork; automatic-electronic drawings flow continuously to merge with the body of text. I completed my master's with a distinction in 2021; my practice is now solely dedicated to drawing.
Drawing continues to challenge and thrill me. It is the best tool to exorcise and feed my creative matrix.
